The gentlemen archers met this day at the house of Jane Petty in Darlington to shoot for the Golden Arrow were present Captain Robert Hall, Lieutenant John Gainford, Mr Thomas Kelley, Mr Thomas Raine, Mr George Rickaby, Mr Thomas ????, Mr J Rowlandson, Mr Robert Jackson, Mr John Drake Bainbridge, Mr John Lamb, Mr George Allan, Mr John Sadler, Mr Robert Surtees, Mr ?? Nicholson, Mr Thomas Watson, Mr James Portees, Mr Richard Hopper & Mr John Hopper.

Be it remembered that Mr Thomas Raine won the arrow this day & that Mr Robert Jackson is the Lieutenant
