The Clerk read the gracious reply from Her Majesty the Queen to our loyal address. Apologies were received from Adam Abbott, Michael Brooke, Alec Harbisher, Michael Leach and Derek White. A full discussion on the relationship between the longbow and the curly bow resulted in the present arrangements being left unchanged. It was also resolved that the fine replica of the Arrow, made by Norman Edwards, should be known as the Captains Arrow, reflecting the purpose for which it was provided. The Clerk reported that the Reserve Fund now stood at £1792.53, including interest and the Administrative Fund was £61.67. Stan Snow was confirmed as Deputy Clerk on the recommendation of the Council of Captains. Donations
from Derek White, Noel Lawrence and John Owen were gratefully acknowledged. |
