Minutes
of the 1992 meeting
|
|
Gentlemen were invited to raise a glass to the memory of a staunch and worthy member, George Penman, who died recently. Apologies had been received from Don Gardner, Harry Grace and Frank Lister, all of whom sent their best wishes for a successful Meeting. The Clerk read the gracious reply from HM the Queen to our message of loyal greetings. The Society was advised of the generous support of the Kirklees Metropolitan Council towards the expenses of the Meeting. The Accounts of the Society showed a balance of £1256.95 in the Capital account and £73.31 in the Interest account of the Reserve Fund, of which £41.46 was required for expenses. The Society wished to thank Mrs Sallie Penman and John Sutcliffe for their generous support. A discussion on the title of the replica Arrow resulted in the decision to refer to it as the Replica Arrow. The
Captain then closed the Meeting and invited Gentlemen to return to the
field. |
