The first item of note was the piercing of the Red by Mr F Newbould of Harrogate at the first end, thus becoming the Lieutenant and holder of the Silver Bugle for the ensuing year. The second item of note was the piercing of the Gold by Mr C Robson of Scorton at the second end, thus becoming Captain elect and holder of the Silver Arrow for the ensuing year. Shooting then continued until lunch-time when an excellent lunch and wine was taken at the West Park Hotel. Be it remembered that at the conclusion of the lunch the minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed and duly signed by the Retiring Captain. Be it remembered that a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the Judge, Mr John Yates and to Mr G Collinson, Chief Scorer and his assistants, and to Mr S Henderson the Retiring Captain for his excellent arrangements of a very successful meeting. Be it remembered that Mr F Wells proposed that the Captain elect and past Captain be trustees of the trophies. This was seconded by Mr A Wales and unanimously approved by all the Archers present. It was also unanimously agreed that future meetings be advertised in the British Archer as well as in a Yorkshire paper. Shooting then continued for a further two hours, and at the conclusion all present were invited to take tea with the Mayor and Mayoress of Harrogate. After tea the prizes were gracefully presented by the Mayoress of Harrogate Mrs B H Wood to whom a very hearty vote of thanks was accorded by the company. Be it ever remembered that this concluded a very happy and successful meeting and here follows the names of prize winners and the score of all archers.
