Be it remembered that shooting commenced at 11am & continued for two hours : & two hours in the afternoon. Be it also remembered that this day Col J Aspinall Turner, North Lonsdale Archers with his eleventh arrow was the first archer to pierce the target in the Gold, and so became Captain and holder of the Antient Scorton Arrow. Be it also remembered that Mr A F Hardy Royal Toxophilite Society with his fifteenth arrow was the first archer to pierce the target in the Red and thus became the Lieutenant and holder of the Silver Bugle. Be it also remembered that luncheon was partaken at the Kings Arms and the usual bottle of wine was provided by the new Captain. Be it also remembered that the expenses of the Meeting according to custom amounting to £6-2-0 were divided amongst the Archers. Be it remembered also the Prizes were presented by Mrs J T Sanderson to whom a hearty vote of thanks was passed.
