Be it remembered that this day Mr J T Sanderson, John O'Gaunts Bowmen, with his seventh arrow and at the fourth end, was the first archer to pierce the target in the Gold and so became Captain and holder of the Antient Silver Arrow, and that Dr P F Mannix, John O'Gaunts Bowmen, the holder of the Captaincy and Antient Silver Arrow for 1925 with his fourth arrow and at the second end, was the first to pierce the target in the Red, and thus became Lieutenant and holder of the Silver Bugle.
